1. This department functions to train the students for enhancing the English language.
2. The target group is first year students.

A select group of staff are selected and approved by the principal to handle classes.

1. The first year students are divided into 5 groups (Except English Dept) based on the language assessment test conducted in the month of August. English Dept students are kept as one separate group.
 
2. Each group will have three classes per week i.e. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
 
3. Each group is dedicated to a particular staff so that he/she keeps track on the learning of the students
