Annual Faculty Development Program(FDP)

Annual Faculty Development Program(FDP) for the Academic Year 2019-20 was organized from 4 to 13 June, 2019 the prime concern for this days to ensure the effective and successful teaching - learning with technology blended inputs in classroom and to keep updated with recent pedagogies for effectual ambience in the classroom. Rev. Fr. John Alexander, Rector and Secretary, started the program with prayer while Rev. Fr. Thaddeus explained the purpose and nature of the event. Day 1 - June 4th -Rev. Fr. John Alexander, Rector and Secretary, Don Bosco Centre, Yelagiri Hills, was the resource person talked on SALESIAN IDENTITY. Day 2- June 6th- Dr Albert Selvanayagam, Director, Bangalore Community College, shared his views on EDUCATION PEDAGOGY, Day 3- June 7th -Rev Fr John Wilson SDB, Youth Director, DBYES, Chennai shared his experience on EXTENSION ACTIVITIES/YOUTH CLUBS and its effects both inside and outside the classrooms, Day 4- June 8th - Dr L. Ravi, Professor in Computer Science, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur delineated on ACADEMIC AUDIT : SIGNIFICANCE & BEST PRACTICES, Day 5- June 10th -Rev Dr S. Thaddeus SDB, Principal, Don Bosco College, Yelagiri Hills commented on CAMPUS CULTURE & EDUCATIVE PASTORAL PLAN, Day 6- June 11th - : Rev. Fr Sundar OFM, Kumbakonam was the speaker, who interacted with staff on STUDENT COUNSELING & ACADEMIC MENTORING, Day 7- June 12th - COMPUTING LITERACY FOR TEACHERS was taken by the T4E Committee and Rev Dr S. Thaddeus SDB, Principal. During the final day on 13 June IQAC, ISO 9001 Committees lectured on QUALITY CERTIFICATION, ACCREDITATION & RANKING. The intensive faculty program was concluded with concluding prayer and feedback from the staff. During the program staff actively participated and interacted with all the resource persons.
