The NCC group has organized 73rd Republic day at our college campus.  The Rector & Secretary of our college Rev.Fr.John Santhosam hoisted the national flag and gave a motivational speech on the topic “Youth Power”.  He pointed out that today’s world we have to think are we responsible, For example there are different types of dustbins kept or using in the right way. A simple thing like dustbin if we are responsible will find out what is the use responsibility and use it in the right way. All the young people are duty minded then our country will reach a great height. We have look upon our national leaders and take their thoughts and feel “India is our country”. From today on we will take a pledge that we are responsible and this will help us to get peace and harmony. Rev.Fr.Thaddeus addressed the gathering that it’s a day really to be celebrated to bring out glory and honor of our country. Republic Day is a public holiday in India, when the country marks and celebrates the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950, replacing the Government of India Act 1935 as the governing document of India and thus, turning the nation into a newly formed republic. India is sovereign, secular, socialistic and democratic country. Every citizen has got justice, liberty, equality. It is our duty to uphold the responsibility. At the end, the program concluded with the national anthem.
