BCOM TRANSFORMING LIVES IN CHINNAKAMMIYAMPATTU

The Department of B.Com (CA) organized a transformative outreach program in Chinnakammiyampattu on 4th January, 2025, aiming to uplift the socio-economic conditions of the villagers. Students engaged in activities promoting education, health, women empowerment, and environmental sustainability. Divided into groups, they conducted awareness sessions, collected crucial demographic data, and suggested practical solutions to local challenges. Their teamwork and creativity impressed the villagers, fostering a sense of unity and empowerment. The initiative successfully addressed immediate community needs while laying the groundwork for long-term development. With positive feedback and impactful outcomes, Bosco Outreach proved to be a meaningful step toward rural transformation.

MATHEMATICS EMPOWER PERIYAMOTTUR COMMUNITY

Thirteen students from II B.Sc Mathematics, along with faculty members Dr. Divyakumari and Ms. Snega, engaged in community development activities at Periyamottur Panchayat Village on 4th January, 2025. The team conducted a population and literacy survey, interacted with villagers, and identified key concerns such as water scarcity, inadequate medical care, and poor roads.

Their efforts fostered a strong bond with the community, making the outreach a meaningful and impactful experience. The initiative highlighted the college's commitment to social responsibility and rural development.

BBA ENGAGE IN ELAGIRI GRAMAM DEVELOPMENT

The Department of BBA provided BBA students with hands-on experience in community development. Held at Elagiri Gramam on 4th January, 2025, the program included geographical surveys, data collection, and interaction with local leaders to identify key challenges such as road infrastructure, waste management, and healthcare facilities. Students proposed sustainable solutions and presented their findings to the Panchayat vice president. This initiative enhanced students' civic awareness and laid the groundwork for future community-driven projects, reinforcing the college’s commitment to social responsibility and rural development.

BCA STUDENTS DRIVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The second-year Computer Applications students at Ponneri Village engaged in data collection, need analysis, and interaction with villagers, leading to the development of a Village Personal Development Plan (VPDP) on 4th January, 2025. The initiative concluded with presentations and reflections, offering students hands-on learning while contributing to rural development.

ENGLISH DEPARTMENT ENGAGES IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The Department of English conducted the Bosco Outreach Program on January 4, 2025, at Palnakuppam, Tirupattur. Led by staff coordinators Mr. Joshua and Ms. Hosan, 2nd-year English students engaged with the local community, identifying key challenges in education, employment, and healthcare. The initiative aims to introduce English classes, improve village infrastructure, and promote skill-based training, reinforcing the college’s commitment to social responsibility and rural development.
