The National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC), and AYUSH Club of Don Bosco College (Co-Ed), Yelagiri Hills jointly organized the International Yoga Day – 2025 celebration on 20th June 2025 at Jubilee Hall. The event was held to spread awareness about the significance of yoga in achieving physical and mental well-being, and to encourage students to adopt it as part of their daily routine.
The program commenced at 10:00 AM with a formal welcome. The chief guests and dignitaries were honored, followed by an inspiring message from the campus minister, Rev. Fr. Arockia Berdoil, who spoke about the importance of yoga in daily life and its power to bring inner peace, self-discipline, and holistic development. He encouraged the students to incorporate yoga into their lifestyle for a healthier mind and body.

We were honored to have with us two distinguished Heartfulness Trainers:

  • Mr. T. Ravichandiran, Heartfulness Trainer and Tirupattur Taluk Coordinator, who shared valuable insights on the philosophy and benefits of yoga, stressing its role in stress management and personal growth.
  • Mr. Shankar, a Heartfulness Trainer from Yelagiri Hills, led the practical yoga session and helped the students perform yoga postures and breathing techniques effectively, enabling them to experience its true impact.

Students from the NSS, NCC, and AYUSH Club participated actively in the session and were deeply benefitted by the hands-on yoga experience and motivational guidance from the trainers.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging all contributors to the success of the event. The celebration of International Yoga Day 2025 served as a motivating step toward a healthier and more mindful lifestyle for the students of Don Bosco College.
