Established in the academic year 2013–2014, the Department of Business Administration has grown into a vibrant centre of learning, nurturing competent, confident, and socially responsible business professionals. Over the past decade, the department has steadily evolved with consistent achievements, quality teaching, and a strong commitment to student development.

The BBA programme initially functioned under the combined Department of Commerce and Business Administration until 2017, after which it emerged as an independent department. Fr. Jesumanikam served as the first Head of the Department, succeeded by Dr. Vetrivalan. Since 2023, the department is led by Dr. Murugan, under whose leadership it continues to strengthen its academic and industry-oriented focus.

In alignment with AICTE norms, the department now admits 60 students annually under the revised structure.
