The Career Guidance and Placement Cell supports students in preparing for professional careers through career guidance, training, and placement assistance. The Cell focuses on developing career awareness, employability skills, and professional confidence among students.

The Placement Cell extends its services to undergraduate and postgraduate students across disciplines and works closely with academic departments to prepare students for the recruitment process.

Key Functions and Support

The Placement Cell undertakes the following activities to support students’ career development:

  • Organizes career guidance and orientation programmes
  • Conducts skill development and employability training sessions
  • Provides guidance for resume preparation and interview readiness

Industry Interaction and Campus Recruitment

The Placement Cell facilitates interaction between students and recruiting organizations by organizing campus recruitment drives. Employers from various sectors are invited to offer career opportunities to eligible students.

Key placement activities include:

  • Coordinating pre-placement talks and employer interactions

Job Offers and Follow-Up

Students receiving job offers are expected to complete all formalities within the stipulated time. Any direct job offers received outside campus recruitment must be reported to the Placement Officer.
