Event Title: International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking - 2025

An Anti-Drug Pledge  was observed at Don Bosco College (Co-Ed), Yelagiri Hills, organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Anti-Drug Club. The event was conducted to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug use and to encourage students to lead a drug-free and healthy lifestyle.
The highlight of the programme was a motivational speech delivered by Rev. Fr. Arokia Berdouil Raj SDB, Campus Minister, who emphasized the dangers of drug addiction and how it can negatively impact one’s health, education, relationships, and future. He urged students to stay away from peer pressure and make wise decisions, reminding them that their life is valuable and filled with purpose.
He encouraged students to seek support from trusted individuals like parents, teachers, or friends during difficult times and to stand firm against the temptation of drugs.
The event concluded with all students and staff taking a strong anti-drug pledge, committing themselves to live a drug-free life and to promote a safe and healthy community. The programme was a powerful reminder of the importance of self-awareness, responsibility, and mutual support in building a better future.
