Life Skills
Don Bosco College (Co-Ed), Yelagiri Hills is determined about including Skill Based Education in its curricula for its students. As part of the Religion Ethics course, the college has been offering "life skills" workshops to its undergraduate students for a number of years. The Life Skills Course aims to shape students into engaged and effective members of their communities by teaching them a variety of life skills that are essential to their overall well-being. To give pupils the ability to adjust to and successfully navigate the rigors and obstacles of a corporate environment.
The college has created a Life Skills Module, which is available to all of our undergraduate students during the class regular academic class hours. The following are included in the Life Skills module:

• Talk in Group
• Cooperation Proficiencies
• Interview Techniques
Students now feel more self-assured, driven, and have a more optimistic outlook on life because to the skills taught in the college's Life Skills Module. As a result, they are able to make more responsible decisions and assume greater responsibility for their actions.
Soft Skills
Soft skills training was conducted in a very informal, interesting, and interactive manner, which gives ample scope for the students to interact with each other.
Objectives of Soft Skills Training By the end of the soft skills training program, the students should be able to:
● Develop effective communication skills (spoken and written).
● Develop effective presentation skills.
● Conduct effective business correspondence and prepare business reports which produce results.
● Become self-confident individuals by mastering interpersonal skills, team management skills, and leadership skills.
● Develop all-round personalities with a mature outlook to function effectively in different circumstances.
● Take part effectively in various selection procedures adopted by the recruiters.
Communication Skills
The EFL class was fortunate to have a highly dedicated team of teachers, consisting of both male and female educators. This diverse group of teachers brought a wide range of expertise, teaching styles, and perspectives to the class. The presence of multiple teachers allowed for smaller group sizes, enabling more personalized attention and support for the students.

ICT Skills
Information and communications technology (ICT) skills refer to one’s ability to converse with people through various technologies. Similar to information technology (IT), ICT refers to technology use for regular, everyday tasks: sending an email, making a video call, searching the internet, using a tablet or mobile phone, and more.
ICT skills could also include the ability to use older communication technologies such as telephones, radios, and televisions.
