Process & Guidelines

Admission – Undergraduate (UG)

Purpose

To identify, select, and admit the most deserving students for imparting quality education and training through a three-year degree programme, leading to placement opportunities after the successful completion of the course.

Procedure

The admission details along with the application form are published in the month of February on the official website dbcyelagiri.edu.in.

From the first week of March, applications can be received online, in person, or by post from the DBCY Office, or downloaded from the website on payment of Rs. 100/-.

Within three days of the publication of the Higher Secondary Examination results, applicants must submit the hard copy of the filled application form in the college office.

Within ten days of the publication of results, and with the approval of the Principal, the first list of selected candidates will be published on the website as well as on the notice board. These students, along with their parents, must meet the Principal/Vice Principal to confirm their admission.

Documents Required (Original with Two Copies)

  • Original HSC Mark Sheet (Plus 1 and Plus 2)
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Original 10th Mark Sheet
  • Four passport-size and four stamp-size photos
  • SC/ST/Backward Class/Minority Certificate from Tahsildar
  • Aadhar Card Copy
  • Income Certificate
  • Bank Passbook with Aadhar and PAN linked
  • All UG Degree Marksheets (for PG Admission)

After confirmation of admission, the Admission Coordinator will assign a department roll number to each student. The student must pay the fees within the date specified on the website and notice board.


Admission – Research Programmes (M.Phil. / Ph.D.)

Purpose

To identify, select, and admit the most deserving students for research programmes (M.Phil. / Ph.D.) and provide an environment conducive to academic excellence and innovation.

Procedure

Duly filled-in application forms, along with photocopies of the required documents, must be submitted to the college office. Candidates will be informed of the interview date and must appear on the prescribed date.

If selected, candidates should take admission on the same day after paying the prescribed fees. For any clarification, candidates may contact the Administrative Office or refer to the Notice Board.

Admissions for M.Phil. and Ph.D. research programmes are conducted as per university directions and guidelines.
