Under the stewardship of the Salesian Provincial of Chennai, the centre embodies the mission of Don Bosco and Fr. Guezou, fostering a vibrant and dynamic campus environment.

Elevated to a postgraduate level in 2017, the Department of English remains dedicated to excellence in serving deserving students, aligning seamlessly with the college's overarching vision and mission. Our primary focus is on cultivating proficient communicators in English and instilling a profound appreciation for literature, thus empowering students for their future careers.

With an impeccable record of a 100% pass rate, with 95% achieving Distinction in university examinations annually, our commitment to academic rigor is unwavering. Whether pursuing further studies or entering the workforce, our graduates are well-equipped for success.

Beyond academics, the PG Department of English fosters a vibrant intellectual community through a diverse array of extracurricular activities, including literary workshops and the celebrated BosLit festival.
